Presenters:
Paul D’Imperio, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a Clinical Manager, Speech Language Pathologist, and Adjunct Faculty Member at Caldwell University. He currently services an Elementary caseload in New Jersey while supervising and supporting SLPs (including Tele-SLPs) and other related disciplines in various states. Paul has experience providing services to culturally and linguistically diverse communities with varying complexity and needs. He enjoys finding engaging and interactive opportunities and activities to increase communication attempts, with functional communication being top priority. Paul’s clinical experience combined with leadership skills allow comprehensive mentorship, guidance, and support. He is always looking for innovative and evidence-based ways to decrease the workload of School-Based SLPs, while still providing impactful interventions.
Kate Collins, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a school-based Speech Language Pathologist with experience providing services both on-site and via tele-therapy. She currently services students in kindergarten through 8th grade via tele-therapy, through the Providence Public School District in Rhode Island. Kate’s specific areas of interest include: stuttering, literacy-based intervention, “r” remediation, culturally responsive evaluations, and partnering with staff to create materials and visual aids.
